Architectural Fashion | Yiqing Yin

Where should I start?
Should I say that she is the youngest Haute Couturier in the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, or should I say that I feel pure love for her work and vision?
Either way she is my newest obsession, a sculptor of the body, "she sculpts the emptiness around the body with, as a common thread, the search for balance and points of rupture between the flowing zones and the sculpted zones" [how beautiful is this?].
The more I search about her the more I feel touched by her garments.
The 28-year-old Beijing-born moved to Paris at the age of four, studied at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs and has won the Grand Prize of Creation of the City of Paris and the Andam Prize for First Collections, just to mention the huge recognition she had so far.

ABSOLUT Transform Today  [There is another one with Woodkid, Aaron Koblin and Rafael Grampá]
This video is just incredibly done. I think the purity of it might express clearly her personality and work perspective. Speechless.

Also this year she was invited to create an Art Piece for the 55th Venice Biennale.
The installation called "In-Between" is made of liquid organza panel with silk threads and can be seen till November 24th at the Venice pavilion.
